Due Diligence and Feasibility Studies

Due diligence informs the many players involved in the development process of the opportunities and constraints associate with a project’s risk and ways in which profit margins can be maximised.

Prior to making a commitment to acquire or sale of land, or venture a new development, we can undertake a thorough planning review of the site and your proposal. We can provide a basic desktop review of the site, or prepare a detailed planning feasibility report summarizing the merits of the proposal as part of due diligence investigations.  We can provide you with important information that can greatly influence whether you choose to embark on the new venture.

Planning Applications and Project Management

We can co-ordinate and prepare all documentation supporting your resource consent planning application, including identifying any necessary specialist consultant reports that may be required to gain planning approval. We have established productive relationships with many experts in specific fields (such as traffic, engineering, architectural, acoustic, landscaping, urban design, heritage) ensuring that should specialist assessment be required, these can be efficiently arranged through our service. We will be your first point of contact, ensuring all projects are personally managed, from inception through to completion.

Resource consent applications which we retain significant experience in managing include, but are not limited, the following:

§  New built, land use and subdivision

§  Multi-dwelling development

§  Commercial use and development

§  Industrial use and development

§  Land subdivision, including both greenfield and infill projects

Strategic Planning/Rezoning

We have considerable experience in submitting rezoning applications and making submissions to various councils in regards to local planning policies and character studies. Rezoning offers a potential for a higher and better economical use of the land which would both deliver positive outcomes for the owner and surrounding neighbourhood.
